KANITHAM is made in Madurai by JEYAN VIJAYAN ASSOCIATE. We built it for the businesses around us — traders, distributors, contractors and their accountants — who wanted GST billing and proper books without a monthly cloud bill or a manual to read.
The principles are simple: your data stays on your computer, the price is one number, every feature is in it, and when you message us, the people who wrote the software reply.

Your business data
Your companies, parties, invoices, accounts and reports are stored on your own computer (or your office server when you use LAN). They are not sent to us or to any cloud.
Trial registration
When the trial starts, KANITHAM sends us the computer's Machine ID, a one-way (hashed) hardware fingerprint and the app version, and checks back occasionally. We keep these with the trial start date so that a trial cannot be restarted by reinstalling. No business data, names or invoices are sent.
Activation and support
To issue a licence key we need your Machine ID and business name, which you send us on WhatsApp or email. We keep them, with your payment record, to manage your licence and support you.
Security codes by email
If you use a feature that emails you a verification code (for example to reset a password), the email address and code pass through our mail service, run on Google, to be delivered.
e-Invoice and e-Way Bill
When you generate an IRN or e-Way Bill, the invoice details go from your computer to your GSP and the government systems, as the law requires. Your GSP passwords and secrets are stored encrypted on your computer.
This website
The site uses no cookies and no tracking. Fonts load from Google Fonts and the installer downloads from Google Drive, whose own policies apply. The enquiry form only opens WhatsApp or your email app; nothing is stored here.

The trial
You may use KANITHAM free for seven days on one computer to evaluate it. When the trial ends, you can still open and view your data; creating new entries needs an activation key.
The licence
- ₹5,000 per year, for one office.
- The key is issued for the Machine ID of the computer that holds the data (the server, on a LAN). Computers connected to it on your office network are covered.
- Updates and support are included for the licence year.
- The licence is for your business; it may not be resold, shared with another business or copied to other offices.
Your data, your responsibility
Because your data lives on your computer, please keep regular backups (KANITHAM keeps daily copies, and can back up to a pen drive). Check GST returns and e-Invoices before filing; KANITHAM prepares them from the entries you make.
Third-party services
e-Invoice and e-Way Bill work through your GSP and the government portals. Their availability and charges are outside our control.
Warranty and liability
We work hard to keep KANITHAM accurate and fix reported problems quickly. The software is provided as it is; to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the licence fee you paid for the current year.
